BAT reduces stake in ITC Limited

British American Tobacco (BAT) has reduced its shareholding in ITC Limited – formerly India Tobacco Company Limited, the cigarette market leader in India.

As of March 2024, BAT holds 25.5% of ITC (down from nearly 30%) which still allows it to hold seats on the board.
