Long-Standing Career in Tobacco Industry
According to CFO World:
Dyrbus’s association with the company began in 1985 when Hanson plc took over Imperial Tobacco Limited. Based in London, which is still the family home, he looked after the conglomerate’s tobacco division, as well as the Ever-Ready business and chain of Allders department stores. When those businesses were sold at the end of 1988 he was sent to Bristol to help re-organise Imperial. When Hanson finally broke up in 1996 he remained with Imperial and prepared the company for its public listing.[REF]D.
